George Owen Wynne Apperely

George Owen Wynne Apperley (1884-1960) was a British painter, described as one of the finest of the late Romantic artists, he worked mainly in Spain and in North Africa. Many of his paintings portray his second wife Enriqueta and he is famous for his views of the Alhambra painted from his study, today the master bedroom at el Carmen de Apperley.
